Safety and quality of work are important factors that contribute to the growth of a company. Only socially responsible companies can establish lasting relations with their business partners and look forward to sustainable development over time. Based on these tenets, Tellure Rôta has always given full application to all the regulations concerning workers’ health and safety, developing over the years a management system capable of identifying, preventing and controlling all the risks connected with its operations.

Our efforts were rewarded in March 2009 with the granting of the OHSAS 18001:2007 (Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems – Specifications) certification by the certification agency Swiss TS Technical Service AG, following a number of detailed tests carried out by TUV Italy.

Standard OHSAS 18001, published on 1 July 2007 by the British Standards Institution, certifies the implementation of a Health and Workplace Safety system which, as well as respecting all the relevant regulations, ensures the thorough understanding, continuous control and proactive management of all the risks and unexpected events connected with a company’s activities, in view of constantly improving performances.

The OHSAS 18001 certification follows and integrates the previously awarded ISO 9001:2008 Quality and ISO 14001:2004 Environmental certifications. Constant attention to the quality of products and processes, to the environment and to workplace safety are closely-linked aspects that find everyday application in our production of wheels and brackets.
